"WELCOME TO OUR ONLINE CATALOG. I'm excited about this new addition to my family's store in Scottsdale, Arizona. Now you can enjoy shopping for exquisite one-of-a-kind Native American arts and crafts even if you can't make a trip to the Southwest.

AND ONLINE, AS IN THE STORE,we bring you the best in handmade, authentic Native American pottery, weaving, jewelry, carving and artifacts-- direct from the Indian artists.

WE HAVE BEEN IN BUSINESS in the valley for 32 years, and during this time my family has developed warm and respectful working relationships with hundreds of Native American artists. In many cases, it is the second or third generation of a family to work with us who design lovely items for the store. Our artists set their own prices, and we work closely with them to help market their art successfully.

WE CREATE MUCH OF OUR JEWELRY ourselves, right here in our silversmithing studio in the store. Our customers really enjoy watching as talented artists transform flat sheets of sterling silver into stunning traditional-style cuff bracelets, elegant concha belts, or gleaming contemporary pendants.

OUR PLEDGE TO OUR MANY NATIVE AMERICAN ARTISTS is to promote their handicrafts through the education of our customers and our emphasis on the authenticity and quality of the items we select for sale. We actively encourage the Native American artists' creativity, and continually teach our customers that every purchase they make contributes directly to the artists' economic self-reliance.

OUR PLEDGE TO YOU is to bring you authentic high-quality Native American artistry at the best possible prices. When you shop at Chief Dodge, you truly buy direct from the Indian artists. Everything we sell is individually selected. There is no middleman so we can keep our prices extremely competitive. And whether you shop in person in our Scottsdale store, or long distance from our Web site, you will enjoy the friendly, considerate, and knowledgeable customer service that we are famous for.

SO ENJOY BROWSING! I'm sure you will find something that "speaks" to you. Learn more about turquoise, or find out how a Navajo rug is woven. Be sure to check out our tips on shopping wisely for Native American items.

Stop by Deraldson's page and see how a Navajo sandpainter creates stunning artwork from finely ground colored-rock sand. Visit often, as our one-of-a-kind merchandise changes frequently. And next time you're in Scottsdale, drop by and say "Hello".
